To the buyer. beware that on 4 or 5 occasion in the Kindle version....a skip occurs and you lose 3 to 5 pages and then the writing continues.

Five Bookmarks from Wild on Books!

Sybil is a witch - just not a very good one. She doesn't know of any spells or magical recipes that she can use to better herself in the eyes of her coven. Stopping at a yard sale, she comes across a very old book and instantly buys it and takes it home with her hoping to find something in it that will help her become a more proficient witch. Sybil begins reading one of the spells and unknowingly opens a gate in the Shadow Realm inadvertently releasing demons into the world. Begging the goddess for forgiveness, Sybil is taken by Kenrick, a Shadow Guardian, to the realm where he and four other shadow guardians maintain order by controlling the gates to the demon world.

Unsure of why she has been taken to the shadow world, Sybil is confused but soon learns that the goddess has decided to take pity of her for her ignorance and in doing so gives Sybil her duties - she is to stay with the five Shadow Guardians and help close the gate she opened. To do this, she must become a warrior like the five men - only her initiation is a bit different. To stay in their realm and become a Shadow Guardian, Sybil must complete the ritual to prove her worthiness in the eyes of the five men. The ritual includes spending twenty four hours with each man doing anything required of her, including sex. Something that Sybil doesn't think she will have any trouble with but has no idea what to expect. Falling in love wouldn't be wise - especially now but Sybil's heart thinks otherwise and Kenrick is the man she wants above all the others. He seems to feel the same but he refuses to trust Sybil after having been deceived by a traitorous witch many millennia ago.

At first I was uncertain that Sybil would be able to keep her part of the bargain that she made with Inanna, the goddess. How many women would be able to keep up with five men? Well, it seems that Sybil is an extraordinary woman. She is strong, smart, and while afraid at times, she puts her best foot forward and in doing so, finds different things about each of the Shadow Guardians she spends time with to love. The men in turn, treat her respectfully but not with kid gloves. They are demanding, highly sexual, and each man has a totally different personality with various quirks added in to make even the coldest woman capitulate to their charms. Kenrick, however, is the Shadow Guardian that stood out for me. He is often snarly, is very alpha, and his trust level concerning Sybil is below zero. I enjoyed watching this primal man begin to fall in love - his confusion over his feelings for Sybil were realistic and very down to earth. His admitting he loved Sybil made me laugh in delight at how the mighty fall.

If hot sex with five sexy men is your idea of a fabulous book then CLAIMED BY THE WOLF is the book for you. Charlene Teglia has written an extremely erotic, sensual, and devilishly sexy novel with CLAIMED BY THE WOLF. The love scenes scorched the pages more than once but most of all, the plot was engaging and believable. Once again Ms. Teglia comes through with a superb story that I have had to read more than once. With one warrior succumbing to love, I can't wait to see what happens to the four men left!

Fulfills Its Purpose As Erotic Literature

Let's speak candidly here, with books like Claimed by the Wolf, the focus is more on the sexual encounters than dev eloping a plot. That is the case here. There is the background story of Sybil, a witch whose coven will not teach her magic, who finds an old book at a yard sale. When she reads a spell from the book, she unwittingly opens a gate in the shadow realm. To make a not so long story even shorter, she must help the Shadow Guardians, a group made up of a werewolf, a demon, a dragon, a vampire, and a fey, whose duty it is to guard the gates to the demon world. In order to help them close the gate, she must become a warrior like them. Apparently the way to do this is to be their sexual slave.

The sexual encounters overall were great- I give them five stars! There were times when the wording made me chuckle a little bit, but overall they were very graphic and explicit. Take note that there was a good deal of anal, dp, and a gang bang scene at the end, so if that sort of thing offends you and you want nothing but boy/girl missionary sex, do not read this book.

Overall, Claimed by the Wolf, was a good piece of erotic literature. There was very little plot and character development, so if you are looking for a story, I highly suggest you go elsewhere. But if you are looking for detailed and graphic paranormal sexual encounters, purchase this book. It will not leave you disappointed!

heated paranormal romantic suspense

Millenia ago long before the Sumerians existed, werewolves, dragons, vampires, witches, a rebellions demon tribe and the Sidhe fought against the demon and were evenly matched until the witches betrayed their cause by changing sides and allying with the demons. All the supernatural species in the battle died except the leaders of each species who pledged their lives and allegiance to the warrior and sexual goddess Inanna. They became her mark, giving them powers and become known as the Shadow Guardians who guard the portals so the demons don't enter this world and those that do are forcibly thrown back to their own realm.

The apprentice witch Sybil brought a Book of Shadows at a sale only to find out it contained demonic magic that entered her body. The Shadow Guardian Kenrick the alpha werewolf explains what happened especially since she asked for help of Inanna to get the demon magic out of her. Her plea makes her a Shadow Guardian as she now wears the mark of Inanna Part of the ritual is sex with each of the five Guardians who test her trust worthiness; she passes the exam, but Kenrick is the one she desires and he wants her as his mate. However, the betrayal though so many millennia ago still lingers in his bone marrow and he distrusts her.

This heated paranormal romantic suspense starring five alpha males and one female who has sex with each of them and in all sorts of combinations. Obviously sex rules the story line as Sybil bewitches four of her teammates while the one she loves who claims her as his expects her to deceive them. Although the libido to the nth power makes the supernatural seem real while dominating the somewhat thin story line, fans who relish the heat will want to read this romantic urban fantasy.

Before joining Fox News, Kelly served as a general assignment reporter for WJLA-TV (ABC 7) in Washington, DC, where she covered national and local stories of interest. Prior to her career in television news, Kelly practiced law for nine years, seven years as a corporate litigator at Jones Day and was an associate for two years in the Chicago office of the law firm Bickel & Brewer LLP. She lives in New York with her husband and children.

As a fan I ended up questioning her intentions for writing this book.

I'm a fan of Megyn Kelly but I have to say that this book is not worth your time or money. I thought I would end up liking her more after reading this, but I ended up questioning whether her intentions for writing this were merely for personal gain. Some of her allegations were too far fetched and did not sound authentic, especially because she waited to reveal these situations until her book debut. If you watch the Kelly File, you know that Megyn isn't afraid to ask the tough questions and to challenge others, so I would expect her to blow the whistle on these incidents early on if they were true. Wish I could have rated this higher, but I really expected more.

Looked forward to reading about a lady who stood up to Trump, but her story lacks depth, centers on a generic theme for reaching high, mostly self congratulating, and not worth the $.

This is a great book, easy to understand- but the printing was off and there are random Pages in the middle of the book and scattered throighout that shouldnt be there. There are also some pages missing. It was probably just this printing because none of the books my classmates have are like that.

About the Author
Dr Fifield is married with three children and lives in Winchester. He holds a degree in Business Studies as well as an MBA and a PhD in Marketing Strategy, both from Cranfield University. He was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) in 1988, an elected member of CIM Council 1999-2001 and the CIM International Board of Trustees 2002-2004.Paul was appointed Visiting Professor at Southampton University School of Management in 2006. He is currently President of the CIM Southern Region and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (FRSA). Over thirty years of listening, watching, learning and applying academic and strategic thought to marketing has created a fertile mind which Paul brings to his customers, his writing and his teaching. He listens watches learns and applies the best of his vast knowledge to help his clients' organisations align themselves to the market they wish to serve. Only after 20 years is the market segmentation approach that was born out of his PhD thesis coming of age; and forming the foundations of some competitive and exciting new market strategies.

Featuring exquisite printing, unexpected gatefolds, special inks, varnishes and paper changes, this magazine-as-artist's-book-as-sociological-study-as-tongue-in-cheek-(yet-also-very-real)-advertising-vehicle contains some of the most riveting work being produced by a young photographer today. Soth explains: "While Fashion Magazine has a single photographer-author, it's still a magazine, not a book. So it doesn't follow my usual mode of slow, solitary production. It's collaboration. The ideas for the collaboration were formulated very quickly. I was approached by the folks at the Paris office of Magnum to work on this issue late last year. I immediately said yes. I was a huge fan of the previous two editions (by Martin Parr and Bruce Gilden) and was looking for an excuse to play with fashion . I often say that when I am making a portrait, I'm not 'capturing' the other person. If the photograph documents anything, it is the space between the subject and myself. Something similar is at work with Fashion Magazine. I'm not really comfortable saying I know anything about Paris or its fashion world. And I suspect that most fashionable Parisians know just as little about Minnesota. What is interesting is the space between us. My favorite example of this involves Chanel. In Paris, I photographed Karl Lagerfeld at the Grand Palais. In Minnesota, I photographed a girl with a Chanel shopping bag in front of Sally's Beauty Shop. With this magazine, I'm trying to explore the distance between those two places."
Photographer Alec Soth was born in 1969 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he continues to live and work. He is the recipient of major fellowships from the McKnight and Jerome Foundations, and was awarded the 2003 Santa Fe Prize for Photography. His photographs are represented in major public collections including The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston and the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, and have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide. Soth's widely acclaimed first monograph, Sleeping by the Mississippi, was published in 2004, followed by Niagara and Dog Days Bogotá in 2006 and 2007 respectively. Soth is represented by Gagosian Gallery in New York and Weinstein Gallery in Minneapolis. He is an associate photographer with Magnum Photos.

Minnesota

The Minnesota section of this book is some of the best Alec Soth portraits published so far. I'm not so much a fan of the Paris section probably because I have no interest in high fashion, but having the Paris section precede the Minnesota section is part of what makes the Minnesota section work. The connection has been made and gives the subjects in Minnesota a quiet, down-to-earth beauty.

Interesting Images - Wouldn't Purchase it twice for that price

I liked the images, they were exceptional. The presentation was also well thought out using a periodical concept.

For the price though I wouldn't buy this again. The cost is around the price of a decent book that will last a few years. This won't with its soft covers and simple spine.
